I had the pleasure of dolling up a friend of my mom's. Mature makeup is always a little bit more challenging as more makeup tends to age us as we grow older. Cat already has a great look and gorgeous eyes. I wanted to accentuate her natural and beautiful features but make her feel fun and sexy as well without over doing it. Mission: Accomplished! <3

Betties and bullies is a non profit Pit Bull and Bully breed charity. Their proceeds raise money to educate and raise awareness about the truth in the world of the American Pit Bull Terrier and breeds alike. On saturday we rocked the photoshoot with Scott Saw of Vixen Photography to shoot Betties and Bullies 2013 Rock-A-Bully pinup calendar. We got to doll up a ton of hotties for this!! Crazy but so much fun

Bridal makeup is so hard because it has to look like the bride, yet be flawless for pictures. Today i had the pleasure of dolling up cristen. Who is set to wed in september. She is an au natural cutie and doesnt usually wear makeup which made it a challenge for me. I did choose a hint of orange to accent her insanely gorgeous blue eyes. They are stunning! We also did a french braid pulled into a looped and pinned off to the side updo.

Summer is short so a lot of us don't have time between daytime and night time fun. Grab some surf spray and apply from roots to ends. Flip your hair upside down and fluff. Flip back and braid it tight. Roll into a bun and pin. Urban Decays setting spray is a great way to keep your dry or shiny face looking supple with or without makeup. Carrying a waterproof liner and a 2 and 1 cheek and lip stain are great items to keep in your purse to glam up in the car before a night out. Need more pop? A bright lip shade always glams it up. When your ready for night time pull out your braid and scrunch your beachy texture minus the frizz!

So any wedding...or special event even, usually involves a tear or two. Or complete waterworks. Don't fear my little criers. Stila has an absolutely amazing Waterproof gel liner that can be used with any type of liner brush so it can be also used in your waterline. Because of its versatility it can create a dramatic cat-eye, a basic subtle line to make lashes appear thicker, or a thin line to create a tiny pop to keep things more natural. Its only $20 and a little goes a long way. One pot will last you probably till it expires its shelf life of a year. I love it everyday. I have naturally very oily skin and blow drying and curling hair all day makes you work up a sweat. This is the only waterproof liner that does NOT cake and that i wont find hanging out on my cheekbones halfway into my day. ;) Yes Please.
